When hiring an Electronic Systems Contractor, it is important to understand the processes that will take place throughout each phase of your project. As you are interviewing firms be sure to ask what processes they have in place to assure the success of your project. Ideally it is best to hire an Electronic Systems Contractor in the conceptual phase of your project. Early collaboration is the key to success and will keep your project within budget by minimizing costly change orders.
Our number one goal as your Electronic Systems Contractor is to design a custom system that will help you to relax, relieve stress and laugh more. We can more specifically determine your needs by asking you a series of questions that will help us to understand how you live and what you love. It is helpful to bring a copy of your floor plans, either electronic or a hard copy that you will be able to leave with us. If we are dealing with an existing structure, an on-site walk through is in order. This walk through will assist our team in creating a scope of work considering your budget and system requirements. At this time a design retainer will be discussed and collected.
Once the design retainer is agreed upon, our engineer will design and specify your system. Specific equipment connections, diagrams and maps are produced in order for our installation team to successfully assemble and install your system.
Every system is designed and specifically tailored for each individual client. Therefore the process for ordering, assembling, testing, burn-in and programming can sometimes take up to 60 days. Once the components for your project arrive at our facility, we will 'rack the gear'. This process includes assembly into equipment racks and the construction of the inner connects. All necessary equipment will be programmed and tested. This will ensure that all of the equipment is operating optimally before it is installed in your home.
The pre-wire phase of the project is completed after the electrician has installed the hi-volt wiring. At this phase all of the necessary wiring for speakers, keypads, touch screens, phone, data, hi definition flat screens, etc. are installed throughout the home.
This phase of the project takes place once your structure has been sheet rocked and painted. The installation of the trim plates, speakers, in-wall touch panels, distribution panels are implemented at this time.
During the final installation phase, we will bring your racked equipment, table top touch panels, free standing speakers, high definition flat panels, and acoustic treatments, etc. to your home. Once these items are placed our technicians will test, calibrate and complete the final programming of all components pertaining to your system.
After the final installation of your equipment, the project manager will turn your project back over to your initial sales consultant. At this time, your consultant will schedule a twenty one day tune up. This will give you, the end user, sometime to get more familiar with your system. When the technician returns for this tune up, any questions will be answered and appropriate adjustments will be made to your system.
